How to access services
School aged therapy referrals must be made through the school based team. Parents or other professionals who believe their child meets the criteria above should speak with their classroom teacher and/or School Support Teacher.
Note: The school based team will complete a Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools Request for Consultation (form) which requires a parent signature.
That form is forwarded through the Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools district office to the Nanaimo CDC. Once the Nanaimo CDC receives the referral you will be contacted by the Nanaimo CDC to complete intake.
If you have questions about this process please contact the Nanaimo Child Development Centre 250-753-0251.
