Services we provide
The Child & Youth Development Program provides opportunities for children and youth to connect and practice social and life skills through facilitated play and activities. This is done primarily in a group based format, however individual support is available to work on specific goals identified by parents and/or caregivers. Each service may look unique depending on the needs of your child and family.
Groups include: play based learning, friendship skills, health and wellness, teen life skill building, recreation/sports, community volunteer opportunities, leadership, and many more.
Parent and sibling support as well as seasonal events are also offered throughout yearly programming. Opportunities include sibling support groups, summer camp, spring break drop-in and Christmas drop-in activities. The CYD team of four Child and Youth Care workers collaborate to co facilitate groups and take a team approach in working with your child, family, and your other team members.
