The Nanaimo Child Development Centre (NCDC) believes in the potential of all children and is dedicated to the individuals and families we serve.
The NCDC was founded in 1967, and today, offers a wide range of services to over 1900 children and their families annually.

Programs & Services

The Nanaimo Child Development Centre provides a variety of programs and services. Most of our programs and services are available at no cost through a combination of public funding and the generosity of our community. Find more information about our services in our Family Handbook here.

Join our 40 for 40 Club

To celebrate our 40th Silly Boat Regatta, we’re inviting 40 businesses to become 40 for 40 sponsors at $1,500 each and help us raise an additional $60,000 for children and families.

Funds raised through this event help support free, inclusive, early-intervention programs, therapies, parenting education and family supports for children with developmental disabilities and neurodivergencies – so every child has the opportunity to thrive.
