Testimonials

“We are so grateful to the Nanaimo CDC for all the support they have given our family over the past 15 years to help our daughter Caylee.
Having a child with different abilities can be overwhelming at times and knowing I have a team of professionals in my corner to provide therapy, support, and education is such a blessing.
Our community is so lucky to have the NCDC close to home. The support they give is so impactful to the children and families.
A heartfelt Thank you to all the past and present staff who have been a part of our journey. We know that Caylee has benefited immensely from all the therapies and support that she has received.
Thank you
The McCaw Family.”

Silly Boat Regatta

The Silly Boat Regatta is recognized as one of Nanaimo’s premier events with over 10,000 participants and spectators. Every year over 150 volunteers, community members and staff come together to make this family event an ongoing success. With a number of business sponsors leading the way, this event is the largest community fundraiser for the Nanaimo Child Development Centre. All funds raised from this event go toward providing specialized equipment, programs and services for children with developmental needs in our community.
