“We’ve been so impressed thus far with the passion and support that everyone at the CDC is providing. Our family feels as though we have a true partner that shares a common goal of bettering our son’s environment and access to necessary resources so he can be successful in his growth and development.”
Having a child with different abilities can be overwhelming at times and knowing I have a team of professionals in my corner to provide therapy, support, and education is such a blessing.
Our community is so lucky to have the NCDC close to home. The support they give is so impactful to the children and families.
A heartfelt Thank you to all the past and present staff who have been a part of our journey. We know that Caylee has benefited immensely from all the therapies and support that she has received.
The McCaw Family.”
Current news and upcoming events:
Nanaimo Child Development Center is excited to add to our programs and services our “Nanaimo Community Playgroup” which is hosted on site Tuesday and Thursday – 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The playgroup also runs through the summer. We have limited space so please check out the signs in the front of our building by our NCDC sign – Green means come on in we have room, Red means sorry we are full at this time…
The Silly Boat Regatta is recognized as one of Nanaimo’s premier events with over 10,000 participants and spectators. Every year over 150 volunteers, community members and staff come together to make this family event an ongoing success. With a number of business sponsors leading the way, this event is the largest community fundraiser for the Nanaimo Child Development Centre. All funds raised from this event go toward providing specialized equipment, programs and services for children with developmental needs in our community.
